How to Participate in Future MSAD 3’s Continuous Clynk Bottle Redemption Program

Future MSAD 3 has enrolled in the Clynk bottle recycling program with Hannaford stores in Maine. It’s an easy way to recycle your bottles, cans and juice containers, (only those purchased in Maine) at any Hannaford Store, and with the provided collection bag with our bar code sticker attached, your donation will be credited to Future MSAD 3’s account.   As with Future MSAD 3’s annual coin drive, nickels and dimes can add up to a substantial amount, helping our non-profit to raise funds in our present athletic campaign for much-needed essentials that are not funded by state or local budgets.

Here’s How It Works:  Ask any board member for the provided bag that will have a bar code sticker attached to it.  Once filled with soda cans and assorted bottles (not more than 20 pounds please), visit any Hannaford store’s kiosk or bottle redemption area.  If you have a question or concern, Hannaford’s employees at the service desk are willing to help.  There will be a scanner usually placed close to a self/serve drop door.    Scan the bar code sticker on your bag (it will beep to verify the bar code has been read) and then push the bag through the self /serve drop door.

Hannaford tracks the total amount of donations and then credits them to Future MSAD 3’s account, keeping a record of all donations for that year.  Directors on the board have been taking part in this program for six months to actually test the program before asking any supporter to get involved.  It has proven to be such an easy method to use---the bag is provided, and there is no need to wait for someone to count your bottles.

If you’re interested in participating in this Clynk program, feel free to ask any board member or contact Marsha Shibles, treasurer of Future MSAD 3, at 207-568-7573.   All donations, big or small, are appreciated.  Thank You.
